No modern business can flourish without the ability to evolve and adapt to meet today’s rapidly changing demands and work environments. To cope with this change, a bewildering array of concepts, methods, tools and techniques have been developed that can leave newcomers to Project Management confused and bemused. This course has been created to assist those without the fundamental concepts and experience of projects to understand the terminology and underlying reasoning behind Project Management.

Structure of the course
The course includes such topics as Project Management Concepts, Why Projects Fail, the Project Lifecycle, Planning and Estimating, Risks, Monitoring and Control.

Pre-Course Requirements
None. This course is an ideal starting point for anyone new to Project management, those without project experience or anyone preparing to take further steps into project planning and control

Who should attend
New Project Managers, Team Managers, Supervisors, Resources, Project Support Staff, Project Administrators or anyone beginning work on a project.

If delegates are intending to go on and gain a project management qualification, then either the PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner would be a suitable route.
