This course is only available as a private event, i.e. for one customer. Any number of delegates may attend a private event, although numbers should be limited to a reasonable amount in order to allow the trainer to attend to the individual needs of each delegate.
Alternatively, a derivation of this course can be used by senior managers to gain an understanding of the method sufficient to allow their project and programme managers to use MSP and PRINCE2 effectively to manage change within the organisation. For this purpose, the course can be run over half a day to ensure that the senior managers are using their time most effectively.
Where the requirement is to attain an understanding of all the Best Practice Guides, their various accreditations and how the guides all work in collaboration, a better alternative may be to book the Best Practice Overview course.

This course is aimed at anyone with a need to have knowledge of MSP. In particular, those preparing to go on to a longer course leading to accreditation will find this an ideal preparation for further training. The material is pitched between the Best Practice Overview, which gives a good description of the method, and the Foundation course, which allows attendees to act as an informed member of a programme team. This includes almost everyone in an organisation using, or intending to use, MSP or PRINCE2 and includes:-
Project Board members
Team Managers
Project Assurance
Project Support
Courseware, exercises and handouts
MSP Pocket Reference Guide
Lunch, either buffet, sandwiches or cafe, depending on the venue
This course will give an appreciation of the MSP method, explain the technical language used in the method and the rationale behind it. The course will be tailored to the needs of the delegates attending the course and the requirements of those arranging it.
