Project Planning and Control Techniques using Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project is the most widely used project planning tool available in the range of software applications. There are a number of companion products with which it can communicate, such as Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Sharepoint Server. However, any tool requires skills to use it effectively and this course has been designed to provide delegates with the skills and the knowledge to use Microsoft Project capably and efficiently.

Structure of the course
The course structure is identical to the Project Planning and Control Techniques course, but utilising the power and flexibility of the latest version of Microsoft Project.

Pre-Course Requirements
Project Management Fundamentals, or similar knowledge.

Who should attend
Project Managers, Project Planners, Project Estimators, Resource Managers, Team Managers, Supervisors, Project Support Staff or anyone wishing to equip themselves with an array of techniques to plan and control project work.

If delegates are intending to go on and gain a project management qualification, then either the PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner would be a suitable route.
